Ayana Cahrr as "Jennie Jones": Ayana is more than just a talented actress; she also works as a dancer, director, choreographer and writer. Ayana feels very blessed to have worked on the film short/TV pilot, Succubus, with John and company. Her television credits include The X-Files (Fox), The Practice (ABC), Her Majesty's Visit (Cable Cast), Power Rangers (Saban Entertainment), Street Smarts (K-Cal) and All About The Money (original unsold pilot). Her films credits include Message In A Bottle (Warner Bros.) and Destiny (Destiny Productions). Recently, she has completed two film shorts, Mid Life Isis produced by E-Side Productions and Her Little Sundress by Dave house productions. Ayana has performed in prestigious theaters such as The George Street Playhouse and Ensemble Theatre Company in NJ; The Delaware Grand Opera in Delaware; Public Theater in NYC and Maryland; The Los Angeles Theater Center, the Greenway Court Theatre, and AATE in LA. Ayana has played numerous roles ranging from Shakespeare's Richard III to Queen Margaret to M'Balia in Richard Wesley's Black Terror. Recently, she played the roles of Baby Suggs from Toni Morison's' novel Beloved; Defilee, a revolutionist, in the powerful and highly acclaimed production of Dessailines presented by the reputable Robey Theatre Company; Harriet Tubman, Fannie Lou Hamer, & Mrs. Turner in She who Weeps, her highly acclaimed one-woman show which celebrates the history of African-American woman. Last year, Ayana Cahrr received a Los Angeles Ovation Award, 2002, nomination for Best Director for the Greenway Court Theatre's Production of How Kintu Became A Man by Nambi E. Kelley.
